制作について
COVID-19で、死ぬことや生きることを考えるのが身近になりました。そこで、「生きたい」「死にたい」という気持ちから離れることをコンセプトに、GAMEBOYでアルバムを作りました。
アートワークは、大好きなピクセルアーティストのtoyoyaさんにお願いして、1枚の絵の中に、明るい部屋と暗い部屋の2つを描いてもらいました。COVID-19のもとでは、部屋にいる人が多いほど、部屋から部屋へ移るときに死を意識することになります。そんなときでも音楽に没頭したい、という思いがありました。2つの部屋で、生きているときと死んでいるときの感じを表したい、という考えもありました。
このアルバムは、家の中の日当たりのよい部屋とそうでない部屋を行き来しながら作りました。それで、アートワークと題名がしっくりきました。
おまけとして、LSDj 8.9.6の .savデータが付いています。

About the making
COVID-19 brought thoughts of death and of living much closer. So the album was made on a Game Boy around one concept: getting away from the desire to live and the desire to die.
For the artwork, Tobokegao asked a favorite pixel artist, toyoya, to draw two rooms, a bright one and a dark one, in a single picture. Under COVID-19, the more people there are in a room, the more you have to be aware of death when moving from room to room, and Tobokegao wanted to stay immersed in music even then. The two rooms were also meant to express the feeling of being alive and the feeling of being dead.
The album was made while moving back and forth between a sunny room and a not-so-sunny room at home, so the artwork and the title felt like a good fit.
It comes with LSDj 8.9.6 .sav data as a bonus.
