About the making
A song born from various experiences of separation. The lyrics took more than a year to finish. It was made with vocals, M8 Tracker and Game Boy, and the girl-pop songs that inspired it are collected in the YouTube playlist “Yomi De Ashibumi Inspired”.
Looking back
The release happened to fall right around Obon. Afterwards the music video also became available on Apple Music and elsewhere. Someone even made an acoustic cover sung in Japanese, which came as a lovely surprise.
