制作について

ダラ〜っとしたスキャットの曲で、M8 Trackerで作りました。もとになったのはWeeklyBeatsに出した「DA-LA-LA」ですが、編曲はがらりと変えています。「Blow up」のイントロのシンセ、「しようよ」のブラス、「あの娘が眠ってる」のベース、「Beeper Love」の掛け声といった好きな要素に、自分の曲のアレンジをつなげてできた曲です。影響を受けた曲を聴くと、Tobokegaoの音楽の好みがわかりやすいと思います。

発売のすぐあとに、Magic Man Tony Astroさんがリミックス「“NEW HARAJUKU CHIC” REMIX」を作ってくれました。

About the making

A laid-back scat song made in M8 Tracker. It grew out of “DA-LA-LA” posted to WeeklyBeats, though the arrangement changed completely. Tobokegao describes it as a blend of favorite parts: the intro synth of “Blow up”, the brass of “しようよ”, the bass of “あの娘が眠ってる” and the shouts of “Beeper Love”, joined to an arrangement of one of Tobokegao’s own songs. Listening to those influences is an easy way into Tobokegao’s taste in music.

Looking back

Soon after release, Magic Man Tony Astro made a remix, the “NEW HARAJUKU CHIC” REMIX.
