チップロックのバンドhey, ily! のアルバムの1曲目に、ラジオふうの日本語の語りで参加しました。語りは夏から秋にかけて録音しました。バンドからは特に指示がなく、最初に送った録音がそのまま曲の形を決めた、とバンドは話しています。
ふりかえり
録音したときは「ily」が「i love you」の略だと知らず、「イリー」と読んだものがそのまま使われました。

About the making
Tobokegao joined the first track of the chip rock band hey, ily!’s album with a radio-style spoken part in Japanese, recorded between summer and autumn. The band gave no direction, and said the first take Tobokegao sent was what made the track.
Looking back
At the time of recording, Tobokegao did not know that “ily” stands for “I love you,” and the take where it was pronounced as “Ily” (イリー) ended up being used.
