Overview
- Date: Thursday, November 14, 2024, 19:00–22:00
- Venue: PLASTIC THEATER, Sapporo
- Theme: chiptune pop live (chiptune, J-pop)
- Admission: 2,000 yen in advance / 2,500 yen at the door
- Flyer: Tobokegao
Lineup
- scythe (LIVE): started chiptune on the Game Boy and now also writes for the Famicom, MSX, PC Engine, PC-98 and more. The plan was gentle, girl-pop-like chiptune with a melodica.
- nervouShapes (LIVE): a unit of Shoma on bass and Collin on vocals, keys and Game Boy, with a sharp band sound all their own.
- Tobokegao (LIVE): songs mainly from the days of writing on a single Game Boy, now with vocals. No guitar this time, just singing over the Game Boy.
- 8bit Gang (canceled)
Looking back
8bit Gang had to cancel. There was no DJ this time; instead, Tobokegao played chiptune picks between sets, and that time grew longer. nervouShapes stood out for their use of effects and their dynamic contrast between quiet and loud.
