Launched TRACKMENTO, a website for creating images to share your favorite music
Overview
- Launched: Thursday, September 10, 2026
- Site: TRACKMENTO (https://trackmento.com/)
- What it is: A site for making an image that introduces your favorite music, with cover art and video thumbnails laid out in a grid
- Name: A blend of “Track” and “Memento”
Why
Tobokegao wanted a website for sharing single tracks and otoMADs together in one image, but couldn’t find one, so they made one, with a look and feel they enjoy.
Afterwards
- September 11: Due to heavy traffic, the site was temporarily inaccessible that night.
- September 14: Acquired a custom domain, and added support for filling a grid of up to 256 squares from a Niconico playlist.
- September 15: Trended on X.
- September 16: VocaDB was added as a search source.
- September 17: A note article reported that more than 20,000 images had been made in the first week.
- September 19: The address became https://trackmento.com/ (the old address still redirects).
- September 22: Features for otoMADs were added, and an introduction video went up on Niconico.
- September 27: A how-to page with 66 short videos was published.
